Greetings! Happy New Year!
It's no secret that 2020 was a year filled with stress and uncertainty. It was a rollercoaster of emotions and challenges that pushed us to dig deep to find strength and perseverance we didn't know we had. We faced restrictions and isolation that led to feelings of loneliness, depression and fear in many of us.
I won't tell you that everything was wonderful. That only serves to diminish how you felt and may continue to feel. We need to normalize the complex range of emotions that we as humans experience. If you have been reading my posts on Facebook, you have heard me reference the notion that life isn't always unicorns and rainbows. There is darkness and despair. We break down, we feel defeated. We have moments where we aren't sure if we can get up and do it all over again tomorrow, but we do.
Why do we choose to come here and incarnate again if there is seemingly so much difficulty and heartache? I often hear people say, "I'm never incarnating here again!" I have said this in the past as well. Maybe you will make that choice once you return to the astral realm (heaven, the Other Side), but here's why you may not. Life is all about duality. You can't have the light without the dark. You can't appreciate the highs without the lows. The key is balance. While in theory it sounds incredible to live in a world with no conflict, chaos or difficulty. But the reality is that if there was no adversity to overcome, life would not hold the same meaning. If we never had struggles, we wouldn't grow and evolve. Our souls are ever changing and evolving and incarnating here on Earth in particular gives us the opportunity for tremendous growth. Life in the astral realm doesn't provide the same kind of experiences for growth that incarnating does.
Does this knowledge make it any easier to face these adversities or lessen the heartaches? Probably not. That's all part of the growth and evolving. Please don't take this to mean I am minimizing anything you have gone through. In fact, my intent in writing this is quite the opposite. I want you to understand that all of these experiences make up who you are. All of these experiences have shaped the collective consciousness. When you overcome adversity and come out on the other side stronger and more resilient, this is no small feat. This has a ripple effect in the world.
So with all this being said, 2020 was also a year of reflection and learning what we are capable of handling. With the isolation and restrictions came more time to go within. We had the opportunity to examine what in our lives wasn't serving us anymore. We had more time to think about how we got to this point in our lives and what patterns/beliefs we were ready to let go. We had more alone time which meant the chance to connect with our souls more and hopefully listen to what they had to say. Finally, we had the experience of what it was like to not be as connected to one another socially. This may have led to the realization that we often take even the simplest things for granted. We realized that we are all truly one and need each other. As we gain back some "normalcy," perhaps we will create a new normal. A normal where we take more time to enjoy the simple pleasures in life. A normal where we are more present with our friends and family.
So what is your takeaway from 2020? What do you want to create in 2021? You are the creator of your life and you have the power to choose a new reality whenever you desire. Want more love, inner peace, and harmony in your life? Create it. Want more time to do what lights a spark within you? Create it. What do you want MORE of in your life this year? You need only ask as you have an entire team of support in the astral realm waiting for you to ask for assistance.
